TL;DR: BrainTungRot collects zero personal data. Everything stays on your device. No tracking, no analytics, no data sharing, no external servers.
What We Don't Collect
- Personal information
- Browsing history or URLs visited
- Location data
- Contact information
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Tracking cookies or fingerprints
- Data from third parties
- Information about other extensions
What We Store Locally
The only data BrainTungRot stores is in your browser's chrome.storage.sync — it never leaves your device.
Preferences
- Selected video type (Subway Surfers, Family Guy, Minecraft, Satisfying)
- Player size and opacity settings
- Random mode preferences and interval
- Player draggable position (x, y coordinates)
- UI state (collapsed/expanded sections)
Playback Data
- Playback resume position (for persistence across page navigations)
- Watch time statistics (today, total, sessions, videos watched)
All of this data is deleted when you uninstall the extension. We have no servers and cannot access any of it.
Permissions We Use
| Permission | Why It's Needed |
| storage | Save your preferences and watch stats locally |
| activeTab | Inject the floating video player into the current tab |
| offscreen | Enable persistent video playback across page navigations |
| host_permissions | Allow the player to appear on any website you visit |
YouTube Integration
BrainTungRot embeds YouTube videos in a floating player. When videos play:
- YouTube's Privacy Policy applies to your interaction with the embedded player
- YouTube may collect data per its own terms — we have no control over this
- Our extension only provides the embedding capability and does not intercept any YouTube data
Data Sharing
- We do not sell data
- We do not share data with third parties
- We do not provide data to advertisers
- We do not send data to any external server
Children's Privacy
BrainTungRot does not collect any personal data, including from children. The extension is appropriate for all ages.
Your Rights
Since we collect nothing and store everything locally, you have complete control:
- Delete all data: Uninstall the extension from Chrome
- Clear settings: Use Chrome's extension storage management
- Reset preferences: Use the reset option in the extension popup
Data Security
All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API. There are no external servers that could be breached. We follow a minimal permissions approach and secure coding practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if our data practices change. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect any revisions. Significant changes will be communicated through the Chrome Web Store listing.
